Strook machinale kant, afkomstig van een 'knipmuts' (kornetmuts). Het is niet bekend in welke plaats of streek deze knipmuts is gedragen. De kant is circa 13,5 centimeter breed. De totale strook is circa 130 centimeter lang. De beide uiteinden zijn met de hand gezoomd. Aan de bovenzijde zit een strookje effen tule.
